About Yara
Hello! I’m a guitar teacher with 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music specializing in Guitar Traditions. My playing combines academic knowledge with practical experience in metal, shred, and progressive rock. These styles challenge both technique and creativity. I love helping students grow in both areas.
Lessons focus on building speed and control. Technique is developed carefully. Students practice alternate picking, sweep picking, tapping, and fast scale runs.
I teach both younger players and adult learners. Lessons are personalized and supportive. Every student progresses differently.
Some want heavy riffs. Others want advanced solos. Both skills are exciting to develop. Music theory helps connect everything on the fretboard. Students learn scales, rhythm, and phrasing.
