About Leilani
Hello! My name is Teacher Lei, and I’m passionate about helping young learners grow their confidence in reading and English. I have experience working as a Learning Center Teacher, where I supported children in developing their phonics, spelling, and basic reading skills in a fun and encouraging way.
I love teaching because I enjoy seeing my students improve and become more confident step by step. For me, learning should always feel positive and exciting, especially for young children, so I make sure my lessons are interactive, patient, and supportive.
I want to teach because I believe every child can learn with the right guidance and encouragement, and I’m here to support each student on their learning journey at their own pace.

I use a student-centered and engaging approach to tutoring, especially for young learners. I focus on phonics, reading, and basic English skills by using interactive activities such as games, flashcards, and guided reading to make learning fun and effective. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and learning needs to ensure they fully understand the lesson.
A typical lesson lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour, which includes warm-up activities, the main lesson, practice exercises, and a short review to reinforce learning.
I have experience as a Learning Center Teacher and as a Quality Analyst, where I developed strong attention to detail, communication, and the ability to guide and support learners effectively. My teaching experience has helped students improve their reading, spelling, and confidence in using English.
My lessons are ideal for Kindergarten to Grade 2 students or young learners who are beginning to learn English, phonics, and basic reading skills.
