About VATSALA
I am a friendly, patient, and approachable tutor who believes that every student can improve with the right guidance and encouragement.
I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. My lessons are structured around the individual student’s needs, with clear explanations, practical examples, and regular practice.
As an MSc graduate with a strong academic and technical background, I bring a structured and problem-solving approach to teaching Math. I work with Primary and Junior Cycle students and aim to help them strengthen their fundamentals, improve their confidence, and develop better problem-solving skills.
I am committed to making online lessons engaging, supportive, and easy to understand.

I believe Maths becomes much easier when students understand the concept rather than simply memorising formulas. My approach is patient, friendly, and focused on building confidence step by step.
I start by understanding the student’s current level and identifying areas where they need extra support. I then explain concepts in simple language, work through examples together, and give students opportunities to solve questions independently. I also encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling pressured, as this helps build a stronger understanding of Maths.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace and learning style. Depending on their needs, sessions can focus on schoolwork, strengthening fundamentals, homework support, revision, or preparation for upcoming tests and exams.
A typical lesson is around 45–60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student’s age, concentration level, and requirements.
I am an MSc Cybersecurity graduate with a strong academic background and experience working in technical and problem-solving environments. I enjoy explaining concepts clearly and helping students develop a structured approach to solving problems.
My online Maths lessons are suitable for Primary School and Junior Cycle students. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can gradually become more confident, independent, and comfortable with Maths.
