About Fern
I am an enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 11 years of experience and over 350 students taught. I specialise in teaching high school and college students, helping them strengthen technical skills, creativity, and confidence. My lessons are designed to be interactive, practical, and fun, ensuring students enjoy the learning process while making steady progress.
One milestone I cherish is seeing students perform confidently at college events and competitions, demonstrating the growth they have achieved. I focus on nurturing musical expression, discipline, and self-confidence, inspiring every student to develop their unique style and a lifelong love for Guitar.

I teach guitar using a clear and student-focused methodology built on communication, accountability, and integrity. I explain guitar techniques step by step, covering chords, scales, strumming, and rhythm in an easy-to-understand way. Open communication helps students learn comfortably and confidently.
I encourage accountability by helping students create consistent practice plans and set achievable goals. I monitor progress and provide helpful feedback. Integrity is central to my teaching. I focus on correct posture, hand positioning, and musical basics to help students develop strong skills.
Lessons are designed based on the student’s level and musical interests. I use exercises, rhythm practice, and song learning to keep lessons engaging. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, improvisation, and composition basics to support complete musical development.
My approach is calm, motivating, and supportive. I help students enjoy learning guitar while improving steadily.
