About Ava

My connection with the piano began when I first experienced the emotional power of melody and harmony. This fascination inspired me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance, where I studied technique, music theory, and interpretation of classical works. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students build confidence and skill while learning piano.

I believe music education should be both structured and encouraging. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, patient guidance, and consistent progress. Every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to match their pace and musical interests. Some learners focus on classical repertoire, while others enjoy learning modern songs.

Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano and exploring new musical compositions. These experiences allow me to bring fresh inspiration into my lessons. Teaching piano is deeply rewarding because I see students develop discipline, creativity, and confidence through music.

About the lesson

My piano lessons focus on helping students build a strong musical foundation while enjoying the learning process. Beginners start by learning proper hand position, finger movement, and how to read simple musical notation. Through short exercises and basic melodies, students learn how rhythm and pitch work together in music. I guide learners step by step so they feel comfortable playing with both hands while maintaining steady timing. These early lessons help students build confidence and understand the structure of music.

As students improve, lessons include scales, chord patterns, and longer musical pieces. These activities strengthen finger coordination, timing accuracy, and musical expression. I help students understand how dynamics and phrasing shape the feeling of a piece. Practice techniques are also introduced so learners can improve consistently between lessons. By working slowly and carefully, students develop strong technique and musical awareness.

My goal is to help students appreciate the beauty of piano music while building lasting skills. Lessons encourage patience, creativity, and careful listening. Over time students become confident performers who can express emotion through their playing. The piano becomes both a disciplined practice and a joyful artistic activity.
