Hi! My name is Devni Wijesinghe, and I am a dedicated primary mathematics tutor with over 3 years of hands-on experience teaching Grade 1 to Grade 7 students. I pride myself on my gentle, empathetic, and highly patient nature, intentionally creating a safe, judgment-free environment where young learners feel comfortable asking questions and pushing through challenges. My proven teaching methodology focuses on breaking down complex mathematical concepts into simple, bite-sized steps through customized lesson plans that perfectly match each child's unique learning speed. My standard lessons are 60 minutes long, structured with a quick review, interactive problem-solving, and a positive wrap-up designed to transform math anxiety into genuine confidence. I offer flexible learning options to suit your family's needs, delivering these highly supportive and tailored mathematics lessons mostly online, but also in-home for local students.
