About William
As a Saxophone tutor with 10+ years of experience, I have taught nearly 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. I am passionate about helping students develop both technical skills and a genuine appreciation for music.
My tutoring method is structured yet flexible. I adapt my lessons based on individual learning styles and goals while maintaining a clear progression plan. I believe regular practice, motivation, and positive feedback are essential for musical success.
I place strong emphasis on saxophone fundamentals, including breath control, embouchure strength, tone production, finger accuracy, and rhythm. Advanced students receive guidance in musical interpretation, improvisation, and performance techniques.
Along with saxophone instruction, I teach music theory, sight-reading, and listening skills. My aim is to help students grow into confident musicians who enjoy playing and learning music.

My Saxophone teaching style emphasizes strong fundamentals, disciplined practice, and expressive musicality through Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I guide students step-by-step in developing steady airflow, controlled embouchure, precise fingering, and consistent tone.
Lessons include scales, arpeggios, rhythm exercises, articulation drills, and expressive performance pieces. Accountability is maintained through structured practice routines and weekly progress tracking.
I provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement. Integrity ensures students develop proper technique and lasting musical habits. Besides Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, and Improvisation to strengthen overall musicianship.
