About Yarn
I am an experienced singing tutor with 9 years of teaching and work experience helping school and college students improve their musical abilities. Teaching music is a rewarding experience for me because it allows me to inspire students and support their growth.
Over the years, I have worked with many learners who began their singing journey with little experience. With consistent practice and encouragement, they improved their voice and gained the confidence to perform in school and college programmes. My teaching style focuses on developing essential vocal skills such as breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm awareness, and vocal expression.
These fundamentals provide a strong foundation for singing. I also make sure that my lessons remain enjoyable and motivating so students stay interested in learning. My goal is to help students discover their unique voice and develop a lasting appreciation for music.

My singing teaching methodology combines flexibility, creativity, understanding, and organised time management to help students grow into confident and expressive performers. I believe that each student learns differently, so I customise lessons to suit their abilities, interests, and goals.
I begin with vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, and pitch training to develop a strong and healthy voice. I also teach tone improvement, vocal control, and articulation to strengthen technical skills.
Creativity is encouraged throughout the lessons so students can explore different musical styles and express emotions effectively through singing. I make sure to understand each student’s strengths and challenges to provide personalised guidance. Time management is an essential part of my approach, ensuring that lessons include both skill development and song practice.
Besides singing, I also support students in rhythm exercises, music theory, and stage performance preparation.
