About Jessica
I’ve been tutoring in English and math for about 5 years now as I was a dedicated student in the writing center of my high school. I taught and helped students of all ages and eventually boosted their grades from C’s to A’s!

I approach my lessons first by having an “introduction” class. This will be where the student and I will sit down and get to know each other a little and really get a grip on the individual goals and wants the student is striving for academically. From there on, I base my lessons off of the way the student learns best. For 9 years of my schooling, I went to a Montessori school where one on one teaching was best and I was able to be taught the way I learn the best. I will assess if the child will learn better with visuals, listening, hands on, etc. then build my lesson from there.
