About Claire
I am a qualified teacher with 12 years experience and hold two honours degree.
One in psychology and the other in commerce.
I am very child centred and my approach to teaching is for each child to make improvements and never give up on them.

My lesson plans are always planned well in advance and I make provision for unexpected events, such as load shedding and then not being able to show the class a PowerPoint presentation.
I always incorporate visual aids to my teaching and often do fun class quizzes to keep my class engaged.
My goal is to teach thoroughly, not quickly. I want my children to master the concepts before moving ahead.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching my children creative writing.
