About Ella

I have spent over six years helping students find joy and healing through a deeply personalized connection with the violin. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts in Violin Performance, but my actual teaching style goes far beyond just perfect classical technique. This detailed approach is perfect for pop performers who need clean melodies over modern tracks and vocalists looking to match their singing lines. For example, I recently worked with a singer who wanted to learn the violin but kept playing their high notes slightly flat. We set up a low drone sound on their phone and practiced sliding up to the correct pitch until their ears recognized the sweet spot.

Within just a couple of weeks, they were shifting into higher positions with absolute clarity and playing with a beautiful, ringing tone.
