About Sana
I love learning French, as it was my first language and the language I am arguably the best at.
I loved it so much in fact that I was able to take the IGCSE exam one year prior to the mainstream examination.
I feel that grades and GCSEs aside, learning a language is useful skills, especially since many countries around the world speak French, such as Switzerland, Luxembourg, Morocco, Algeria and so on.
Even though it may seem intimidating, it can actually be fairly easy and even fun!
In December last year, I gave the DELF B1 exam, on which for reading I got 23/25 and on the writing I got 22/25.
I also received a 90% overall when I gave the IGCSE exam.
Thus, I feel I am fairly qualified to teach it, especially at GCSE level and below.

I feel that the best approach towards a language lesson is to ensure that the student is comfortable speaking in the language. As that is most often, the main hurdle to overcome.
The lessons will typically be one hour, in which a strong basis on vocabulary and grammar will aim to be built, and then slowly progress towards exam practice. During these lessons, speaking only in French will be encouraged, to ensure the pupil gains confidence in the language.
I am most familiar with the A*-G Cambridge IGCSE specification, however I am familiar with other exam boards such as AQA and Edexcel.
I will mostly be offering lessons to students of GCSE level and below, as I do not have the time to teach A Level / IB students.
