About Max
My name is Max, I am a 22 year old International Business Administration Graduate. I have Lived, Worked and Studied Abroad in Marseille, France for 2 out of the 4 years of my degree. I find myself to be an organised, proactive, and eager individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
At school, speaking assessments tend to be the most nerve wracking and stressful, which is why my lessons focus is real life scenarios and carry out modern, audience tailored conversation and verbal methods in order to improve the students speaking fluency and confidence. As a 22 year old, it wasn't long ago that I was in the same situation as the current students which makes building the relationship with the student easier.

- My target learners are GCSE/ A-Level Students from ages 12-18, preferably with a good foundation to work from but not essential.
- Assist and help with any reading/writing/grammar/vocab - homeworks or revision. I find that the students I have previously worked with have good vocabulary but simply need an extra nudge in the right direction.
- My lessons typically last between 30 mins - 1h, upon request they can be longer. (The first lesson tends to be 1h/1h15 as I take the students through a couple of games/tasks to determine their strengths and areas for improvement.
- Throughout my 4 years at university I have coached and tutored my peer students who were either non native speakers studying abroad or helping them prepare for french assessments as part of their course.
