About Tim
I am an electronic music artist, with over 10 years experience writing, producing and mixing. My own tracks have been featured on the likes of Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists, as well as receiving press support from names like DJ Mag, XLR8R, Clash, Computer Music. I also have experience as in A&R and artist development for record labels and live booking agencies. I have a passion for quality music across a wide spectrum of genres.

My method of teaching is tailored to the student, with each lesson programme created specifically for the student’s interests, strengths and weaknesses. The programme will run chronologically through the music creation process, from inspiration, songwriting, through to recording, production and mixing the finished product. Each lesson will dig deeper into different elements of the process, whether it’s song structure, song referencing, arrangement, sound design. After each lesson there will be ‘homework’ (but the fun kind!) where the student will take time to hone their skills on their own tracks, to bring to the next lesson for review. By the end of the course, the student will be able to finish professional quality tracks ready for commercial release.
