Do you struggle with writing essays, understanding what assignments are really asking you, and organization? Then I'm your girl!!! I have received all A's and B's in every Social Studies and English class I have taken throughout high school and college. As a student, I pride myself on my good grades and would love to help others feel the same.
I focus on breaking down assignments into manageable steps to ensure students dont overwhelm themselves. A typical lesson starts with reviewing the assignment instructions step by step to help the student understand exactly what is expected of them. From there, I will help the student brainstorm ideas and develop a strong plan for proceeding. This plan will consist of developing a strong thesis, creating an outline for the essay, and building the introduction, conclusion, and body paragraphs. I will also guide students in integrating direct quotes, proper citations, paraphrasing, and improving sentence structure. Towards the end, I will proofread for any grammatical errors and ensure formatting is correct. In addition, I am perfect for students who struggle with organization, note-taking, and time management. I will provide note-taking strategies, help create study guides, and academic planning strategies to help students stay on track and improve their grades. My lessons are ideal for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and college students who are taking English, History, Social Studies, or Political Science classes. I am willing to work with students who need quick assignment help and students who need extra support.
