About Everett

I have over 12 years of experience teaching Piano and enjoy helping college students reach their musical goals through personalized instruction. My lessons focus on building confidence, developing strong techniques, and making learning enjoyable.

My teaching approach is based on understanding each student's needs and adapting lessons accordingly. I explain every concept using simple English and practical examples that make learning comfortable and effective.

To keep lessons engaging, I use innovative methods such as digital learning tools, rhythm practice, ear training, listening exercises, and interactive song activities. These methods help students improve their skills while enjoying every lesson.

Students gain confidence in note reading, scales, chords, finger coordination, posture, rhythm, and musical expression. I provide constructive feedback and encouragement that support long-term progress.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, and continuous encouragement. I believe every student can become a confident pianist with the right guidance and regular practice. My lessons are carefully planned according to each student's age, learning speed, experience, and musical goals. I create a friendly and supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves through music.

Students begin by learning the fundamentals, including correct posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and basic music theory. Once these skills become strong, they move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive playing, and performance preparation. Every lesson builds on previous knowledge to ensure steady improvement.

I use demonstrations, practical exercises, listening activities, and simple explanations to make learning easy to understand. Students receive regular feedback and personalized practice plans that help them improve consistently. I also encourage students to develop discipline and confidence through regular home practice.

Students learn music from different styles such as classical, pop, movie themes, devotional songs, and contemporary music. Improvisation, accompaniment, and creative exercises help students develop musical imagination and confidence.

Besides piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, rhythm training, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance techniques. These additional subjects help students become complete musicians.

My goal is to help every student enjoy learning, perform with confidence, and build a lifelong love for music.
