About Laura
I am a native Italian speaker with a strong academic background in languages and culture. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Humanities (Lettere Moderne) from the University of Bologna and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Digital Humanities and Digital Knowledge. Currently, I am expanding my academic foundation by studying toward my formal teaching qualification.
My path has always centered around communication, culture, and digital tools. Having learned English and approached other languages as an adult, I deeply understand the challenges and hesitation that come with speaking a new language. That experience is why I prioritize a relaxed, encouraging environment where you feel supported from day one.
Combining my background in the humanities with my technical skills in design and digital tools, I bring both structural clarity and personal enthusiasm to our practice sessions. I am dedicated to helping you build genuine confidence in Italian, making sure your learning journey feels both rewarding and authentically connected to real life.

I teach students of all levels, ages, and backgrounds who want to learn Italian in a natural, stress-free way. Whether you are a total beginner or an intermediate speaker looking to build confidence, my lessons are tailored around your specific goals and interests.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but we can easily adapt the length to fit your schedule.
My approach focuses on real communication and learning through context. Instead of relying on rigid grammar drills, we will use topics you genuinely care about to make Italian a natural part of your daily life. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Humanities and a Master’s in Digital Humanities, and I am currently studying for my official teaching credentials. I draw on my digital background to create clear, custom visual notes for every session, helping you stay organized while keeping our conversations casual and engaging.
First lessons are always a low-pressure chiacchierata (a chat) to discuss your interests, see if we're a good match, and build a path that works for you.
