About Elio Georges
My name is Elio Elia, and I am a Lebanese Canadian who loves the English language! I decided to pursue a journalism degree when I was younger because I really enjoyed writing. Whether it was nonfiction pieces or fictional short stories (my favorite), the English language was like a paintbrush, and the chance to write a canvas. I have written numerous official pieces for multiple media platforms, be it reviews of music, news stories, or op-ed works on the sociological state of the world! My love for this language has pushed me far, and now I want to make sure I can extend that grace to other people through teaching!

The way you need to be taught, I'm ready to teach! I focus on engagement and adaptability above all else, so whether it's through discussions, practical exercises, or guiding you through an organized lesson plan, I'm here!
My techniques would focus on encouraging the students to engage with the subject how they feel comfortable doing so, and through analysis of their approach, I will evolve my methodology to best suit them. I aim to uplift my students so that their confidence builds over time!
I hold a dual degree in Journalism from the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College, which has provided me with a solid foundation of the key principles of the English language in a technical and practical sense.
There is no limit on who I am willing to teach, be you someone with no experience to someone in university level wanting to improve their communication skills. I am a teacher for the people!
My lessons typically last up to an hour, but I am flexible! If your goals need more time and attention, then I am ready to give it!
