About Mckyla

Hi Everyone! I'm Mckyla Naidoo also known as Kayla or Naz. I am from South Africa, Durban, Phoenix. I would describe myself as a positive, energetic, knowledgeable, and industrious teacher. I have a flexible style of teaching that can cater to all students and abilities. I would also say that I am a high-achieving teacher. I love working with kids and allowing them to also teach me more about their ways of understanding and learning and most importantly their culture that they come from. Teaching to me is seeing my students succeed in the language and overcome any obstacles they may face along the way and also working with parents in supporting and encouraging their kids. I love to shape my students into having a positive mindset and letting them feel relaxed in every lesson we have, most importantly being self-motivated. I strongly believe there is no limit to success and there's no limit to my students becoming the most successful people!.

About the lesson

I have a Distinction in Teaching English as a Foreign language. I love learning new things from my students as well such as the culture they come from and their original language. I can work with you on accent reduction to help improve your career chances in an English-speaking environment as well as in academics. Moreover, I can review English academic papers and suggest improvements in the language and expression used. I believe having fun is always a good way of learning and remembering things and that's why my lessons are always filled with laughter, comfort, and joy. Together we can overcome any obstacles!
