About Bianca

I am a professional saxophone tutor with 10 years of experience teaching college students. My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and continuous improvement. I focus on helping students enjoy learning while developing strong musical skills.

My lessons cover tone quality, breath control, finger technique, rhythm accuracy, and expressive performance. I combine technical training with creative activities like improvisation so students stay engaged and confident.

I use real-world examples, recording feedback, and play-along practice to track progress clearly. Music theory, ear training, and sight-reading are also included to support overall musical growth.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for Saxophone is student-focused, creative, and practical. I believe every learner has a unique musical voice, so I design lessons based on individual goals, skill levels, and musical interests. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as breathing control, posture, embouchure, tone quality, and finger technique. These basics are taught through simple exercises and real musical examples so students can understand and apply them easily.

Creativity plays an important role in my classes. I encourage students to explore melodies, improvisation, and expression rather than only playing notes from a book. I use familiar songs, backing tracks, and real-life music situations to help students think musically. As a mentor, I guide students to become confident and independent learners by teaching them how to practice effectively and solve problems on their own.

I also focus on critical thinking by helping students analyze music, understand rhythm, scales, harmony, and musical structure. Accountability is maintained through regular feedback, practice plans, and achievable short-term goals. I track progress and motivate students to stay consistent. Along with Saxophone, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythm Practice, and Basic Improvisation, which help students grow as complete musicians.
