About Kurtis
I completed my undergraduate degree in biomedical science and my MSc in haematology and transfusion science (distinction). I’m currently studying for my PhD. My project looks is on cancer biology. Specifically, I work on a project searching for new biomarkers in leukaemia.

My teaching methods are based around pedagogy in science. I utilise simple visual aids and I like to integrate current research in order to develop critical appraisal skills. However, teaching styles are fully flexible and can be altered to fit with a student’s preference.
