About Mahadevan

Turning challenges into confidence and guiding students from exams to future careers in science and healthcare. I’m Mahadevan, a qualified Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and MSc Forensic Science graduate with professional experience in pharmacy and drug safety. I specialise in teaching Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathophysiology from GCSE to University level. I know from experience that science can feel overwhelming at times, lots of big words, diagrams, and details that don’t always seem to connect. That’s why my lessons are all about breaking things down into clear, simple steps and showing you how it all links together in real life. I use plenty of examples from pharmacy, medicine, and everyday life so that topics like physiology or pathophysiology actually make sense, not just on paper but in practice. Most of my lessons are an hour long. We’ll usually start with a quick recap, then focus on a key topic with explanations, diagrams, and questions to check your understanding. By the end of each session, I make sure you feel more confident than when you started — whether that’s preparing for an exam, working on coursework, or just finally “getting” a tricky concept. I’m a qualified Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and hold an MSc in Forensic Science. Alongside my academic background, I’ve worked in pharmacy and drug safety, which means I can show you how the science you’re studying is used in real life. I teach Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathophysiology for GCSE, A-Level, and University students. Whether you’re 10 and just starting your science journey, or at university aiming to strengthen your foundation for a healthcare career, my goal is the same: to help you enjoy learning and feel proud of your progress.
