About Debbi
"Music has been my constant companion since my childhood days, and the vibration of the strings still feels as distinct today as it did when I first picked up the instrument. I have taught 225 students over the course of my career, emphasizing that building technique should never come at the cost of the sheer joy found in playing.
My instruction covers ear training, bowing technique, tuning by ear, vibrato, and complex double stops. I draw on my formal training to help you master scales and arpeggios with precision and ease. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your goals."

"You will notice that a typical session begins with a quiet assessment of your current bowing technique and intonation. I provide a monthly progress report shared with parents to ensure everyone stays aligned on your development. We work through ear training and vibrato exercises until your intonation remains consistent. 7.0 is my standard scale for measuring technical improvement across our goals.
Double stops require patience. Scales and arpeggios are handled with a focus on ease of motion.
My approach emphasizes steady growth. I keep things calm. We move forward at your pace. You will find the environment encouraging."
