About Nichelle
Holding a DMA in Violin, I represent the rigorous Russian tradition of string pedagogy. Precision is paramount in my studio. Over 6 years, I have guided many students through ABRSM and Trinity grade exams, ensuring they master classical repertoire, sight reading, and complex double stops.
My approach remains patient and unhurried because I prefer building technique slowly so it lasts. Developing tone production starts with the ear before the hand, a core principle from my Suzuki training. I emphasize rhythm, timing, and vibrato while inviting parent involvement to ensure consistent progress. Tuning by ear is a foundation of my philosophy, and I find great joy in watching my pupils succeed through quiet persistence.
