About Jamie
"Have you ever wondered how to bridge the gap between simple phrases and true conversational fluency? My 13 years of teaching experience have allowed me to guide 145 students through the complexities of language acquisition. I work with adults, kids, and hobbyists preparing for relocation or immigration. My background includes a Master of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music, which informs my focus on accent and intonation.
I enjoy helping learners navigate cultural context and idioms. We spend time on liaison and nasal sounds to build authentic speech patterns. Listening practice and reading comprehension are essential components of my methodology. I also provide exam preparation for DELF and DALF assessments.
