About Amelia
Considering that singing is essentially controlled breathing, I prioritise fundamental warm up exercises. Sight singing and vibrato control often become the primary focus for my more advanced learners who wish to polish their delivery. Vocal development is quite linear. We will address technical hurdles like intonation while maintaining the integrity of your personal sound.
I prefer a quiet, analytical atmosphere where we can carefully deconstruct the music. This allows us to handle stage fear with practical, manageable steps. My method is steady and patient.

I hold an MMus in Vocal Studies from Trinity Laban, which serves as the bedrock of my musical practice. It remains a fascinating reality that I have helped 330 students navigate the complexities of their own voices over the past 13 years. My role involves supporting a wide spectrum of singers, from dedicated hobbyists to those currently preparing for rigorous grade exam candidates. I often work with vocalists who need to manage stage fear or refine their microphone technique.
The vocal instrument is inherently linked to one's personal identity, which requires a gentle and refined touch. My approach draws upon the intersection of linguistic accuracy and vocal performance. I simply enjoy the work.
