Super tutor

About Daria

I’m a bilingual actor and director with training from the Oxford School of Drama, LAMDA, and RCSSD. I specialise in preparing students for drama school auditions.

I know first-hand how exciting (and nerve-racking!) the audition process can be. That’s why I offer a supportive and practical approach that helps you build confidence, unlock your monologues, and walk into the audition room ready to show your best self. Alongside my own training, I’ve also assisted on audition panels at the Oxford School of Drama, giving me unique insight into what panels look for and how to make a strong impression.

I especially enjoy working with non-native English speakers, helping them overcome language-related insecurities so their individuality and talent shine through. At the same time, I’ve also coached many native English speakers from a variety of backgrounds, tailoring my approach to each individual’s goals and style.

About the lesson

My lessons are all about giving you the tools and confidence to shine in auditions without overwhelming you with unnecessary theory. Each session is tailored to your needs, but typically includes:

Monologue coaching: breaking down text in a clear, digestible way while bringing out the intensity and truth the character calls for.

Voice & speech support: clarity, presence, and power, whether you’re a native or non-native English speaker.

Audition preparation: practical strategies, mock auditions, and tools for handling nerves.

Personalised feedback: constructive, honest, and encouraging, in a welcoming environment.

Most lessons last one hour, online or in person.

Here’s what my students have said about working with me:

“Daria is an incredibly kind and attentive tutor, able to help you break down a text in a digestible way and bring out the intensity that the character calls for in a welcoming and understanding environment.”

“She’s really incredible – she gets what drama school auditions are like and offers honest and practical advice without overwhelming you. Her approach is super flexible and tailored to what you need, not a one-size-fits-all method.”

“She was thorough, skilful and compassionate when helping me prepare for my audition. She gave constructive feedback and demonstrations – would 100% recommend!”

“I have little experience in acting other than school plays, and she taught me tools and exercises to work on a text in depth. I’m more confident going into drama school auditions now.”

Daria was the 2nd tutor I got in touch with on Superprof after not having a great first experience. She's really incredible - she gets what drama school auditions are like and offers honest and practical advice without overwhelming you. What I also really like is that her approach is professional but super flexible and tailored to what you need and not some one-size fits all method.
She is also great at supporting someone working in a second language from her own experience, so I found her to be very patient, clear, and really good at breaking down text in a way that makes it accessible, no matter your level of fluency. So happy I found her, can’t recommend her enough!
