About Curie
I am an exchange student from South Korea. My major at university is sociology, but I'm professional in illustration; my drawings can prove that. I've been drawing all my life and I also have experience as a street artist. I am fluent in Korean and English. My German is B1-B2 level.

Would you like to draw your own illustration? Are you looking for a friendly teacher with experience in Manga and Manhwa drawing?
I'm Curie Park, an exchange student from South Korea. I've been drawing all my life, going a self-taught digital art and portrait professional. With a variety of experiences working as a portrait artist and teaching drawing, I can help you find your creativity and bring it to life on paper (or a digital canvas)! I can teach how to draw in pencil, watercolor and digitally using Procreate, Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint. Out of these I specialize in Procreate :)
I explored different illustration styles, from Ghibli to Overwatch to realistic portraits. Not only for realistic portraits but also to learn a specific portrait style (e.g. chibi or anime style), I am the perfect teacher for you as well. I speak fluent English and mediocre German, so I can also provide good explanations. I'm more comfortable teaching in English, but I would be able to understand your questions in German. I look forward to our adventures in the world of drawing!
how the lessons will be conducted:
- assess your current drawing skills with the drawing material you want to use
- Figure out what kind of style you want to achieve based on references and add your own uniqueness
- Learning the basics of drawing facial features and human anatomy
- learning how to use digital drawing tools (if needed!)
- learn simple but useful tips to make your illustration look better
- learn how to find ideas for character design
