About Serenity
I am a self taught artist. My mom is a tattoo artist, art teacher, and portrait artist. For years I have studied black and gray realism as well as semi-realism digital painting. I have won many art shows and do commissions.

I am Serenity Byers and after years of drawing, it is my goal to teach the student the basics of art. I start off with how to use the medium. From how to use watercolors to the way a pencil is not as simple as a pencil, I teach the medium. After the medium, the basics of a drawing are understanding composition and color theory which we will delve into as we work on creating pieces. Gestures, life studies, and a variety of art exposure will go along with this class. We can focus on traditional or digital art. This experience will not just focus on how to draw, but how to use what you are drawing and put an eye catching piece together.
