About Jules

Digital Marketing Strategy with a Silicon Valley Product Expert

I’ve spent more than 25 years working in digital marketing and product strategy, including roles connected to the Google and Meta ecosystem. During that time, I’ve worked with 50+ brands globally across tech, media, and consumer industries.

Today I run a creative agency and advise businesses on AI-driven marketing systems—using tools like ChatGPT, Notion, and modern automation platforms to improve growth strategy, content operations, and digital campaigns.

My sessions focus on how marketing actually works in the real world, not theory. Students typically come to me to understand:
- Digital marketing strategy and growth systems
- SEO, funnels, and content architecture
- AI-assisted marketing workflows
- Personal brand or startup marketing strategy

If you want to understand how experienced marketers actually structure campaigns, I can help you build a system that works.

My lessons are practical and tailored to your goals.

Some students come to learn the fundamentals of digital marketing. Others want to sharpen their strategy, launch a product, or integrate AI tools into their workflow.

Depending on your focus, we may work on:
- Building a digital marketing strategy
- Improving SEO and content structure
- Designing marketing funnels
- Developing audience growth systems
- Using AI tools to streamline marketing work

Sessions are typically hands-on and discussion-driven, often using real case studies or your own projects as working material.

Many students come with a specific project or business challenge we can work through during the session.

The goal is simple:
to help you think and operate like a professional marketer, not just follow tutorials.

If you're unsure whether the lesson is the right fit, send a brief message about what you'd like to learn and I can confirm whether it's suitable.”

  • 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

I've been tutoring since high school, and I've been an assistant professor in college. Later on, there is always an element of coaching and mentoring with the companies and clients I work with.
  • 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I cover a variety of topics ranging from product management,UI/UX design, and product development to brand design, creative direction, digital marketing, and the management of complex multi-million-dollar programs. In product management, I delve into areas like market research, feature prioritization, and agile methodologies. For UI/UX design, the focus is on user-centered design principles, wireframing, and prototyping. I enjoy discussing effective ways to align product vision with user needs and the iterative design process. I find students often struggle with designing the optimal experience for complex apps.
  • 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

I used to not like physics and I found physics principles super confusing. An awesome teacher in high school turned things around and made physics click for me.
  • 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

Patience, adaptability, active listening skill, and effective communication are essential.
  • 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

During a hackathon in my grad year, the challenge was to develop an innovative solution to enhance the manufacturing process of household appliances. Our team was diverse, with members from different disciplines, which initially posed communication challenges. However, as we brainstormed ideas, each member brought a unique perspective. We hit a breakthrough moment when we conceptualized a modular assembly system that not only streamlined production but also allowed for easy customization based on consumer preferences. Over the intense hackathon period, we created a functional prototype and a compelling business case. This underscored effective interdisciplinary collaboration in creating practical and marketable solutions within a constrained timeframe.
  • 6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

Keeping up with rapid technological advancements poses ongoing challenges in my field, since things change so quickly.
  • 7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

I like all kinds of brain teaser games like Sudoku, puzzles, riddles, Scrabble, Quirkle, Elevate, Lumosity. They help me relax.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof?

I'm versatile and can cover a broad range of topics, drawing from decades of real-world experience. This means I can go as wide and deep on a subject as necessary. This elasticity of expertise places me at the top of the Superprof community.
