My name is Ally McDougal. I am a professional freelance drummer and teacher based in North London.... offering tailor made drum lessons to suit your needs!
I am a young and enthusiastic musician and educator with over 15 years of experience at the highest level, teaching, gigging and recording all over the world. I have a 1st class Honours Bmus Degree in Music Performance from The Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford. I have played with artists such as; Freya Ridings, George Clinton, Murray Head,Tony O'Malley, Chloe Foy & Kaz Hawkins and many more.

I am offering tailor made 1 on 1 tuition to suit your needs. whether that is to sit graded exams, develop technique, exercise creativity, learn how to read drum music or just sit down and have fun. That's up to you!
Hearing yourself play is the best way to improve so with my state of the art recording facility, I am offering a truly unique drumming experience where we can really hone and perfect your skills. With the use of extremely professional recording software and microphones, we will be able to record and listen back to you playing and finely tune to ensure you are playing and sounding the best you can be!
I also have the use of the facility to record drums for any specific music project you have involvement in. For instance, if your band has recorded a song and you'd like to track some drums for the song. For an added price I can guide you through the recording process and record high end multitracks and ensure you're getting the best performance and results for you to take back to your band or project.
I have the use of many mics, pre amps and musical instruments including Neve, Neumann and Universal Audio. I am also an endorsee of Ludwig Drums and Istanbul Cymbals so the equipment to ensure the highest quality recording are available to use. If you'd like an equipment specification list I'd be happy to send that to you.
