About Deshawn
I am a musician who has been playing drums for 3 years, I have been told to start teaching on many different occasions. I have received 2 scholarships to Durham Integrated Arts Camp (Camp) where I performed in front of large audiences. I also play for my church on a regular basis where I play with other talented musicians.

I myself have been a part of a lot of different classes where I have been taught the foundations of the drums, whether it was in private lessons, or in my music class at school. As I've grown as a musician I have realized how important the foundation is. My lessons will do just that. With every client, I will assess the foundation, and see if it strong enough to be built up. I am able to teach basic theory as well as drum notation.
