About Joseph
I'm a solicitor-in-training at a leading US law firm, with 4x A* A-Levels, a 2:1 LLM from Durham Law School, a Master of Laws degree, and a first-attempt pass of both SQE 1 and SQE 2. Law is something I'm genuinely passionate about — and I love helping others navigate it too. I didn't always know my passion for English would bring me into law, and I'm happy to discuss this journey / provide guidance here too.
I've tutored A-level students and led revision sessions at law school, so I understand what it takes to perform at every stage of legal education, from GCSE right through to professional qualification and eventually landing that sought after job at the end of it.
As I tutor alongside a full-time legal career, I keep my availability intentionally limited — this means I'm best suited to students who are motivated, committed, and genuinely want to make progress. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you!

My teaching style is very dynamic and before getting started I like to take a minute to understand how you learn best, what your goals are, and where you're struggling — then I build sessions around that.
I prefer 1:1 sessions because they allow us to move at your pace, focus on what actually matters to you, and track real progress over time. I have tutored A-level students before and have run various study groups whilst at Law school.
I'm happy to tutor everyone who is willing to learn but my specialities are: GCSE Law & English students/ A-Level Law & English students/ SQE students/ University undergraduates or those looking to apply/ Graduates looking to break into the legal profession.
