About Agnes

I am a dedicated piano tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, working with students from school to college level. My journey as an educator has been guided by my deep love for music and my belief in the power of quality education. I strongly believe that every student can achieve success with patience, practice, and proper guidance.

Throughout my career, I have helped many learners improve their technical skills and develop confidence in their performances. A proud milestone in my journey was mentoring students who once struggled with rhythm but later performed confidently in school events and competitions.

I focus on step-by-step learning, ensuring students clearly understand each lesson before moving forward. I emphasise rhythm accuracy, coordination, expression, and consistent practice habits.

My classes are supportive, disciplined, and motivating. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love for piano while building determination and self-belief in every student.

About the lesson

In my piano lessons, I emphasise technical accuracy, musical interpretation, and creative growth. Motivation helps students remain focused, develop consistent practice habits, and build confidence when tackling challenging pieces.

Communication is interactive and clear, ensuring students fully understand finger technique, chord transitions, scales, rhythm, tempo, dynamics, and expressive phrasing. I provide demonstrations, hands-on guidance, and regular feedback to ensure correct technique and progress.

Integrity ensures that lessons are organised, punctual, and honest in evaluating performance. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation exercises, composing short melodies, exploring harmonies, and experimenting with different musical styles.

Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and keyboard fundamentals for complete musicianship.
