About Carter
I have been teaching guitar for the past 12 years and have successfully helped around 300 students learn and improve their guitar playing skills. I work with high school students, college learners, and adults who want to start learning guitar in a supportive and encouraging environment.
My teaching philosophy focuses on simple learning methods, patience, and regular practice. I believe that anyone can learn guitar when lessons are clear and structured. In my classes, I focus on teaching the core fundamentals such as chords, rhythm practice, strumming patterns, and finger coordination.
These skills help students build a strong foundation and improve their playing ability. I also include song learning in my lessons because it helps students apply what they learn and keeps them motivated to practice. Teaching hundreds of students has helped me develop effective teaching techniques that make guitar learning easier for beginners.
Some of my students have performed in school and college events after gaining confidence in their playing. My goal is to help students build strong guitar skills and enjoy making music.

My approach to teaching Guitar focuses on helping students learn in a clear, structured, and supportive way. I believe that every student has a different learning style, so I adapt my teaching methods to match their pace and needs.
Students begin by learning the fundamentals of Guitar such as chords, rhythm patterns, strumming techniques, scales, and finger exercises. These basics help them develop comfort and control on the instrument.
I explain each topic in simple language and guide students through practical exercises so they can apply what they learn. To make lessons more engaging, I use real-life musical examples and song demonstrations.
Along with Guitar training, I introduce related subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm practice, improvisation basics, and songwriting. These areas help students build a deeper understanding of music and improve their creativity.
