About Laura
I am a native Italian speaker currently living in London, with an academic background in History of Art. My greatest interests are art and culture, literature, languages, and the environment.
I find great delight in immersing my students into the Italian culture and its wonders. Knowing the challenges involved in learning a new language, my teaching approach is tailored to your individual needs. I am here to motivate you and support you throughout our sessions.

Everyone is welcome!
From beginners to advanced learners of all ages. One-to-one sessions or in small groups.
Curriculum
Reading and writing, listening, and speaking. The weight I throw in each of these skills varies according your wants and needs.
The materials I prepare cover a huge spectrum: articles, games, videos, music, and literature. As visual memory plays a huge role in information processing, I try to incorporate different techniques in my teaching such as discussing and describing artworks. My lessons can be held in Italian, English, and French.
Frequency of Lessons
The lessons can either be conducted intensively under a short period of time, or sporadically just for maintenance.
Where
In light of the current circumstances, the lessons are carried out online. Once the lockdown is lifted and the situation improves, I am more than happy to hold face to face sessions for those of you who live in London.
Reasons for Learning Italian
Your motivation for learning Italian can vary from planning a trip to Italy or preparing for an exam, to work-related reasons. Whichever the case, Italian is a rich and multi-layered language that rings beautifully to the ear. I am positive that by the end of our sessions you will have fallen in love with it as much as I have!
