About Dawn

As a flute tutor with more than 6 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students grow musically and personally.

I work with school children, college students, and working professionals who want quality training. My teaching approach is student-centred and goal-driven.

I focus on posture correction, breath support, tone stability, finger speed, and rhythm accuracy. I combine practical lessons with music theory, scale practice, improvisation basics, and ear training for well-rounded development.

I provide structured lesson plans and track progress regularly. My special strength is building performance confidence and helping students overcome stage fear. I believe music education should inspire creativity and self-expression.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy for flute is centred on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity to help students grow step by step.

I begin by ensuring correct posture and breath control, which are essential for flute playing. From there, we work on embouchure development, tone consistency, articulation patterns, scale practice, and rhythmic accuracy.

I adjust my teaching methods depending on how students respond best. Visual aids, demonstrations, and repetition exercises are used to strengthen learning.

Flexibility helps me tailor lessons to individual objectives. For students aiming at performances, I include stage confidence training and expressive interpretation techniques.

Collaboration ensures that students feel involved in their progress. We set short-term and long-term goals together.

Positivity creates a calm and motivating atmosphere. Along with flute, I teach music reading, rhythm counting methods, ear training, and performance preparation skills.
