About Steven
I was a teacher for 16 years and now I've been tutoring the last two years, taught dozens of students, ranging from 1st grade up to adults that wanted to learn Engish for real-life situations. I believe that most of my students have improved their grades because they loved being in my classroom and knew that I cared about them.

I can teach across the curriculum to all elementary students. I also have a TESL degree and Master's in Multicultural Education so I am very experienced at helping second-language adults too. I believe that developing a nurturing, safe environment with mutual respect for each other is vital to the success of our sessions. The lessons will be structured to the individual needs of each student. I'm reflexible, open-minded, and have developed many strategies over my many years of experience.
