About Carlos

I started my professional career in early 2000’s as a music performer in Mexico City, and from 2006 to the present, I taught numerous students on a weekly basis; studio performance, jazz ensembles, music theory and musicianship. I learned a great deal from these experiences. I especially enjoyed teaching practical lessons because it gave me a sense of purpose, stimulating both, my interest of being a better teacher and students to explore their potential as budding musicians. This has been a source of inspiration to pursuing and keep developing my career as a music educator to help new generations of musicians in their learning development and preparing them for their next phase and future music career.

About the lesson

My methodology of teaching music concerns an accessible and playful manner. Through transparency, respect and enthusiasm, students enjoy the learning process while building a strong musical foundation to enrich their expression, follow their inner voice. I offer a way of learning and making music together, providing students step by step the tools to keep focus, so they can choose, set and achieve their goals.
