About Sarah
My name is Sarah, I’m 24 years old, and I’m currently pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education at SUSS. I’m an aspiring educator with a strong passion for helping young children develop a love for learning — especially in the areas of phonics, reading, and writing. Why do I want to teach? I want to teach because I genuinely believe in the importance of early education. These first years are when confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills take root — and I want to be someone who supports and guides children through that. There’s something deeply rewarding about seeing a child’s face light up when they sound out a word for the first time or finish a sentence on their own. I want to create those moments — not just for academic success, but for building belief in themselves.

What makes my approach different?
I believe learning should be fun, hands-on, and meaningful! I use a wide variety of materials — from storybooks and songs to games and visual tools — to engage your child’s natural curiosity and build essential early literacy skills in a way that sticks.
What I Offer:
• Phonics & Reading: Learning to decode and understand words confidently
• Writing Skills: Building fine motor control and creative expression
• Primary 1–2 Tutoring: For children aged 4–8 who need support in English and basic literacy skills
