About Ishani
Hi all! I’m a professionally trained actor and theater educator with over 10 years of acting experience across India and the UK. I hold a Master’s degree in Acting from East 15 Acting School in London, where I trained extensively in the Joan Littlewood tradition, with a strong emphasis on ensemble work, truthful performance, physical theater, and vocal technique.
During my career, I’ve had the privilege of performing on a variety of stages, including at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, and have worked with diverse performance styles and theater practitioners. My training has given me a deep understanding of movement, voice, character development, script analysis, and the craft of acting.
Alongside my work as a performer, I teach drama in an International Baccalaureate (IB) school and enjoy helping students of all ages discover confidence, creativity, and authenticity through acting. I believe that great acting isn’t about pretending—it’s about understanding human behavior, connecting truthfully with a character, and communicating with clarity and purpose.
Whether you’re preparing for an audition, working on a role, or taking your very first steps into acting, I tailor every lesson to your individual goals, creating a supportive environment where you can challenge yourself, grow as a performer, and enjoy the process.

Acting Classes – Build Confidence, Creativity & Performance Skills
Whether you’re preparing for drama school auditions, working towards a performance, or simply want to become a more confident actor, my classes are designed to help you grow as a performer in a supportive and engaging environment.
Drawing on my Master’s degree in Acting from East 15 Acting School (London) and my experience as an IB Theatre teacher, I focus on developing the actor from the inside out. Together, we’ll explore character building, voice, movement, imagination, emotional truth, and stage presence through practical exercises and performance work.
Lessons are tailored to your individual goals and may include:
* Character development
* Monologue and scene work
* Voice and speech techniques
* Physical theater and movement (including Laban)
* Improvisation
* Script analysis
* Audition preparation
* Confidence and communication skills
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a school student, an aspiring professional, or someone returning to acting after a break, lessons are adapted to your experience and pace.
