About Marjan

Why this course and why me?
For a long time I suffered from resistant disorders such as migraine, thyroid, painful periods as well as hormonal changes like mood swing etc. I used to take a lot of drugs and painkillers. All this sometimes prevented me from losing weight as I wanted. I am Iranian and the lessons of Avicenna, the great Persian physician and philosopher, exist so well in the unconscious of all Iranians generation by generation. As a history researcher that I am, I began in-depth studies on the role of each food in dietary balance and I found it well explained and well classified in Avicenna.

But when did I recognize these Persian (Eastern) lessons Unique? When I came to live in France. For example, I was with a French friend in a Parisian café one afternoon in the middle of summer. I ordered a tea. He looked at me with surprise and said: Look at the other tables! You're the only person who ordered a hot drink! I checked and admitted but was able to give him a convincing lecture on why the hot drink keeps me longer needless of water. And then I did a deep thought about how we (Avicenna) categorize hot and cold food but not necessarily in temperature but nature! In this course, we go step by step together to have a better life and feeling by changing the diet based on medical knowledge and philosophy of Avicenna and harmonizing it with nutrition. At first, all your eating habits and illnesses are questioned and recorded. Then, based on your dietary interests and do's and don'ts, you'll receive recommendations to reduce adding and switching foods. Spices and herbal teas play an important role in creating this balance. If you wish, you can also plan to lose weight, but the main objective is to know how much and how to eat to have a healthier body and mind.
