About George
I am a recent graduate from the University of Bristol having just completed a BSc in Economics. I am currently working a full time job in tech in the City. I am a super keen skier, sailor, and diver and have a love for travelling. I used to be a national runner and hockey player and I studied Maths, Chemistry and economics at A level. Since I started tutoring when I was at school I have had a real passion for it and genuinely enjoy being able to see the effects of my teaching, be it through and improvement in grades or just a general passion for the subject. I was very fortunate and was able to attend a fantastic school growing up and was exposed to some wonderful teachers and as such a real love of academics, and I feel that this passion can be easily shared provided you have the right teacher and right type of support.

I have tutored since I was 16 and have the ability to teach to any pupil. I have learnt to tailor my teaching style based on their preferred method of learning. I have been fortunate enough to have some fantastic tutors myself and have learnt the most effective teaching methods and am able to structure lessons based on desired academic outcomes.

George was an amazing tutor. He taught me GCSE maths, and biology. In my mocks in year 11, I got a 6 in both subjects, but after starting with him, I got 9’s in both subjects. He was extremely patient and always made the lessons something to look forward to. I would really recommended him. George taught me maths and chemistry throughout my GCSE’s and A levels and was a fantastic tutor. We quickly establish what my preferred learning style was and he was then able to tailor my lessons. He is a calm and patient tutor and will help you achieve your academic goals. My GCSE Chemistry and Maths grades rose by 3 grade boundaries over my year with him. I couldn’t recommend him enough.
