About Halla

I’m Halla, a passionate and dedicated coding tutor with a strong background in both education and professional experience. I hold a degree in Economics and Politics from Queen Mary, University of London, and have honed my skills as a data scientist through various roles in the tech industry. My expertise lies in Python programming and data analysis, and I’m excited to share this knowledge with the next generation of learners.

I believe that coding is a vital skill for the future, and I’m committed to making it accessible and enjoyable for kids. With experience mentoring young people, I understand the importance of patience, creativity, and encouragement in teaching. My approach is student-centered, focusing on making complex concepts understandable and engaging through practical, hands-on activities.

About the lesson

When tutoring, I focus on creating an engaging and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable exploring coding concepts. My teaching methodology combines hands-on coding exercises with real-world examples to help students understand the practical applications of Python. I use interactive tools and fun projects to keep lessons interesting and ensure that students are actively participating.

Each lesson typically lasts about an hour, which is an ideal length for maintaining focus while covering core concepts. I tailor my lessons to the individual needs of the student, ensuring that each session builds on their existing knowledge and challenges them just enough to keep them progressing.
