About Yashita
Hello! I'm a fourth year Economics Major with over one year of experience teaching economics, maths, statistics and science. With the focus on creating a clear and approachable learning experience I focus on maing these really hard-looking subjects easy and fun for my students. I have one year of experience teaching children maths and science, where I honed my skills in understanding the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I try to break down complex concepts into simpler, manageable parts to make it more enagaging. Active learning wherein the student asks questions and tries to apply the ideas by themselves is the goal. A typical lesson starting with a introduction to set foundation, going towards problem-solving part and ending with a brief summary of what we covered and a personlized task to reinforce learning. My highly adaptive teaching style and making them feel comfortable to ask questions and try to make these really difficult looking subjects easy for them.
