About Vytis

I'm Vytis, a 2026 IB graduate from Lithuania with 43/45: 7s in Biology, Chemistry, and Economics HL, an A in TOK, and Olympiad experience in both sciences. I hold an offer from Imperial College London for biochemistry and have spent the past year helping IB students with their UK and European university applications.

I teach the way I wish I had been taught: directly, built around how marks are actually won, and honest about where you stand. I expect you to work between sessions, and in return, every lesson leaves you with something concrete to do.

Lessons are online in English or Lithuanian. The first 60 minutes are free.

About the lesson

I teach IB Economics HL and SL online to students aiming for a 6 or 7. I finished the IB in 2026 with 43/45 and a 7 in Economics HL, so I know the current syllabus, the new paper format, and exactly where the examiners draw the line between a 5 and a 7.

Economics is a subject where students often understand the theory and still score badly, because the marks are for how you argue, not what you know. Lessons start with a diagnostic to see how you write, then we rebuild your answers around the mark scheme: a clean diagram, a definition, the mechanism explained step by step, and real-world evidence that actually fits the question.

FOR IB STUDENTS: For the Internal Assessment, I help you pick articles that give you something to analyze, apply the right theory, and write all three commentaries to the criteria within the word count.

Each session ends with a specific task for the week and notes you can revise from. Lessons run on Zoom or Google Meet with a shared whiteboard. The first 60 minutes are a free trial so we can check the fit.

Vytis helped me get a better grasp of IB economics, and I personally credit him with improving my term grades. I specifically worked with Vytis on improving my skills in the topic of market power for microeconomics, and we worked on 10 and 15 mark questions for Paper 1.
