About Philippe

I taught many students helping to reach A+ level, fluency levels for many years on leisure, professional level or tourist level. I am also a fluent Italian speaker and I write articles and fiction books published on most professional platforms. I have translation experience, teaching experience in California ( Davis, Sacramento, Fresno ). I co-founded a children's publishing company, called 'Le Sourire qui Mord' in Paris. About the lesson

I teach French at any level from the basics to the most literary perspective. I drill and emphasize writing, speaking, reading, correct spelling and prononciation, basic to advanced grammar, composition, listening skills, academic subjects, prose and literature, movies, culture and more as necessary. During the first introductory/discovery session, I will gauge your acquaintance with the language and your background. As we reconvene, I will follow one of two options. The first is schooled; you will learn all the materials needed which may take as many lessons as needed, with the use of your or my materials. The second is more liberal; upon checking and rating your present pedagogic level you will jump right away into the most advanced initiation at your will and progress as fast as you want. At that level, there is no limit to the type of work or skills to be put into action. I grade your results, putting in evidence your weak and strong points in a test session that includes all the knowledge acquired.
I presently teach advanced French and one of my best students teaches Spanish IV at Fresno City College. I would be happy to have you join my team of best students as well. It's up to you, so come and join in!
