About Khailasha
I am a Bachelors Degree graduate in teaching/education and I am TEFL certified. I have studied and gained experience in teaching and learning, different, approaches, methodologies, skills and educational studies throughout my 4 year degree. Throughout my 4 years at college I have gained teaching experience in many schools in the different grades as well as grades in which the school needed urgent teachers due to emergencies or other reasons and a teacher was needed. I am energetic and love working with students. I have experience teaching online, tutoring and teaching Extra English classes. I have a bubbly personality which will make it easy to get along with. My goal is to help my students achieve their goals, reach for the stars and think out of the box. I want to help my students challenge themselves, be comfortable in their learning environment and learning content and try their best to the best of their ability.

In my class I believe in interactive learning, so my teaching methodologies are but are not limited to cooperative learning, discussion learning, inclusive education and inquiry based learning. I believe in a more learners centered approach in the classroom as it is more appropriate in this day with all the changes and education and generation development. However with the learner centered approach it will include the traditional teacher centered approach in order to create balance and guide the learners appropriately in their education.
I am proficient and able to teach in English as it is my native language.
learners can expect a calm, engaged and relaxed typical lesson from me. This means that during the lesson the learner will have my undivided attention in order to make them feel comfortable and engaged in the lesson to create a good learning environment and understanding of the learning content.
My lessons are aimed at students such as kids, teens or adults who want to learn and communicate in English, either as their home language, or as a foreign language.
