About Kaylene

I am currently studying education. I have offered Social Sciences and Mathematics lessons at a local school and homeschooled learners in grades 4-8. I am TEFL certified. I am a warm and patient person; I listen to my learners and understand their perspectives. I use different types of teaching and learning strategies to ensure all my learners are able to grasp all topics and concepts.

About the lesson

I enjoy working with children and believe all are unique and can bring something special to their own education. My role as the teacher is to assist each learner in developing their own potential and learning styles. My lessons are student-centered. I start my lessons by thoroughly explaining the topics to ensure all learners understand; thereafter, I give my learners an opportunity to come up with their own perspective and understanding. My lessons are designed for learners who need help with the subjects I offer. I am patient, warm, and enthusiastic about teaching and learning.
