I have taught Special Day Class. I have taught as a Resource Specialist. I have taught Moderate to Severe. I have taught for over 30 years in this Centralia School District And am currently teaching as a Substitute Teacher for La Habra School District. I use behavioral analysis. I use Individual Education Plans. I develop curriculum based on individual need. I am very patient with the students I tutor . I depend on their learning experience and objectives as to how I determine what the students will most benefit by in the lesson plans! I would teach Reading depending upon the students’s reading level by breaking down Reading Comprehension , Check for Understanding and increase word vocabulary. I advance with thorough instruction on Book Level to insure students move forward to the next level. I love reading and desire to ignite this passion in the students I teach. I write a lesson plan for each semester to set benchmarks and long term goals. I want learning to read to be a fun delightful experience. I also desire students are able to read for educational benefit. I would encourage students to write stories of their own. I would differentiate between the forms of books such as the many genres. I would teach them the evolution of a book ‘s beginning, rising anticipation, foreshadowing, climax and resolve. I am a book lover. I believe in both fiction and nonfiction a student can immerse themselves in books and emerge a full, more creative and well informed individual. I structure my lessons based upon daily curriculum intent on covering the content standards.my name is Sari Lindsay. I taught many students to enjoy Reading and Writing. I began teaching Reading in Alaska when I was 18. I can be reached through Superprof.com. I have four incredible daughters who I homeschooled. I structure my lessons by an introduction to the reading material, the focus of the day ‘s lesson, discuss the title, author, background, read the required passage and discuss the reading material, Generate questions that will provoke reflection, check for understanding and ask if there are any questions.
